Turn Your Phone Into Work Computer

The dream of running a desktop computer on a smartphone is almost here, there were
unsuccessful attempts at creating a
“mobile desktop” long ago; The Motorola’s “Webtop” and the
Ubuntu Edge. All the projects collapsed due to no funds, at least that's what they said. We still have Ubuntu
on phones, sort of… just not Ubuntu Edge.

But here comes:

ANDROMIUM
Andromium will democratize desktop
computing - unleash the full potential of
your smartphone. Turn it into a computer!

The company claims that with today’s smartphones power,
The Snapdragon CPU inside many of our
devices is faster than the number one
supercomputer in the world in 1996! And it
could be just sitting idly in our pocket, while smartphones have become
incredibly powerful, they still lack the
functionality of a desktop.
Andromium Will be affordable and highly accessible.
It will seamlessly turns our Android
device into a desktop
computer. It will be
affordable, and devilishly easy to use;
simply install the app, and plug your phone
into the dock.

How is this done?

Simple, all you’ll need is the 30MB
application (which will be available in the
Google Playstore), your smartphone
(although not all will be supported), and
either the hardware dock they are
producing, a third-party supported dock,
or depending on your phone, chromecast.

The process will be as easy as pairing or
plugging your device to a monitor or TV
and have Andromium start and take over
your phone. There you’ll be greeted with
a very clean interface (with a pointer that
is currently a little too chunky) that
resembles that of Windows 7 in both
design and functionality.

Devices compatible with Andromium:
Andromium is designed for the most
popular series in Android  phones, the
Samsung Galaxy. It works with both the
Galaxy S and Note series (S3 - 2GB RAM
version, S4, Note2, Note3, Note4). Currently
S5 does not fit in the dock due to the USB
port cover, but rest assured - we are
supporting S5 also, via Chromecast.

Also the HTC One M8, LG N5/G3,
Motorola Nexus 6, and One Plus One will
be supported via Chromecast too.

Watch out for Andromium and it's compatibility
with your device, more updates will be available
at every progress made by the company.

Leave comments about any questions
concerning Andromium and it will be answer.
Stay tuned.
